Our mission at Arriba Arabians is to consistently produce beautiful Arabian type both physically and genetically. Our ranch has become recognized as having one of the largest selections of typey line-bred Arabian mares in the industry. Our mares are recognized as much for their beauty as their genetic strength. The genetic fortitude of our horses has enabled our clients to successfully outcross their Arriba stock to produce champions of their own, within the first generation, something we are very proud of.
The foundation of our program has been Gainey based bloodlines of Gai Parada, Dreamazon, Gaffizon, and Ferzon. We purchased our first Arabian in 1979, Dreamadonna, the first foal of the incomparable Dreamazon. Soon after we continued to purchase, show and breed Dreamazon and Gainey bred stock. In 1996 we acquired a relatively unknown breathtaking six year old Gainey /Bey Shah Stallion - Bey Shahrado. At 15.3 hands, Bey Shahrado soon proved himself to be an outstanding producer, consistently delivering size, movement and attitude along with the true Arabian type that has become a hallmark of the Arriba breeding program. Over the years, we as well as our clients, have out-crossed Arriba bred stock with many of the top names in the industry, with outstanding results.
